Hi Everyone,
It’s well and truly into the year and we are continuing to grow. Since our last newsletter we have conducted a number of meetings in Sydney which went very well. God moved among the people in a powerful way and lives were changed. We were also able to open a fresh Bible College in Liverpool from this trip.
On the home front, Heritage of Faith is now over the 200 mark and growing very well. We have seen God begin to really bless and expand the work that we are assisting with.
We have also joined forces with the Gold Coast region of the Australian Christian Churches (AOG) led by Gary Swenson to help churches in the region. This is a strategic opportunity to build the Kingdom in the Gold Coast and surrounding region.
We are looking at continuing to reach out and ministering around the country and into different parts of the world.
Until next time.
Blessings,
Trevor and Larri Loveday

MINISTRY UPDATE - JUNE/JULY 2008
As you may be aware, we now are based on the Gold Coast and are working with the Australian office of Jerry Savelle Ministries.
We have been working with Heritage of Faith Christian Church and we are seeing God really move. The church and ministry are growing, and the new JSMI Extension Bible Colleges are taking off. We now have seven colleges running and another three ready to start.
If you are part of a church that does not have a college and would like one of its own, we can help!
We have had some awesome trips to Ireland and England, and will be reaching out to those nations again.
Ireland, which has seen such hard times over the years, is a nation ready to grow spiritually. The younger generation do not want to take on the problems of their parents’ generation with its hatred and violence.
While ministering there, God really laid it on my heart to pastor and father the people, which brought a tremendous reaction and many tears from the congregations as well as the pastors and leaders.
Our website is nearly complete, (pray for us, it’s taken forever!) and then you will be able to access info, order resource, and stay in touch with us.
We helped with the launch of a new church in Sydney, and later returned to do some leadership training, and were very glad to see the church is growing.
The team is growing with Shannon and Janelle Drury joining us. Shannon, who is a Hillsong graduate, a minister, and a great administrator, is helping organising me in many areas, and has been working and travelling with me. He will be helping to set up the new partner base and newsletter.
I plan to be in Sydney again soon, as well as other places around Australia and Asia.
Pray for us as we continue to move forward in the vision that God has given us to see His church grow worldwide, His five-fold ministry come back into the church, and to see the saints be released for the work of ministry.
Blessings,
Trevor and Larri Loveday
Newsletter Article - August/September 2008 - "And I Will Build My Church - Part 2"
Last newsletter we started talking about the fact that God is building His Church. In Part 2, we continue along this theme.
Where to start:
When we establish some thing like a business or an organisation we must ask ourselves a very basic question. “What is the purpose of what we are doing”?
If you don’t have purpose (a reason or cause) you will never work with passion. I have discovered over the years that purpose without passion will go no where, passion without purpose will frustrate, but when we combine passion with purpose we can achieve anything.
Every person born on this earth is born with a purpose and a God given destiny.
God requires from all of us that we be good stewards of the calling and gifting that is on our lives. We see in the story of the talents that although it uses money as the focus the real meaning is looking after what the master (God) entrusts to us. This, I believe, is referring to the gifts, talents and abilities that are unique to us as an individual as well as the church, its message and purpose.
So what is the purpose of Church?
When we establish a business we set a mission statement and a plan around that mission and ask all the right questions so that the business can flourish and prosper, then why not God’s business. We should ask, the what how questions
What do I want to achieve, and how am I going to do it?
The church has been established with a function and purpose. That function is:
1. To take people to their God given destiny.
2. To show who God is through His nature and Character being manifest
3. To feed, train, support, encourage, guide, love, nurture, fellowship and be a supportive, functional family
Our destiny is tied up in the local church or the house of God. This is where God will develop us for the work of ministry and the destiny that He has for us.
a. To get people saved
b. Taught
c. Trained
d. Loved
e. Equipped
f. Put on the path of their destiny
God has established a team in the church as well as hands on training program.
Key Verse:
Ephesians 4:11-16
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith (belief and understanding) and of the knowledge (know intimately through use) of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (He had the spirit without measure) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ - from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
God not only set a purpose for church but also set in place those gifts required to set up and train the church for it’s purpose as well as the gifts within the church to allow it to operate fully and functionally as He requires it to operate.
The purpose of the Five Fold Ministry:
1. To teach and train the Saints for the work of the ministry
2. To hear the voice and direction of God and relay it to the people
3. To take and lay out the vision that God has given and show the people how to achieve it
The purpose of the vision:
Is to give the people a plan to work with and plug into so they may learn and grow in their God given work and destiny.
Habakkuk 2:2
And Jehovah answered me and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain on the tablets, that he who reads it may run”.
Habakkuk was the spiritual leader of his people and God spoke to him and said write the vision down so the people might run with it.
The purpose of the people:
a. To find and fulfil their destiny
b. To do the work of ministry (meeting the needs of the people)
c. Allow themselves to be taught and trained (through service in ministry)
d. To make church work (to fulfil it’s mission)
Colossians 3:22 – 24 Amplified
Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).
What ever you do in life you are to see it as working for the Lord, not for man. See your service in the house of God not just as a sowing into the house but also a seed sown toward your harvest (destiny).
Every area that we sow into in the kingdom has a glorious reward.
The church is 50% us the people and 50% the building or assembly place.
If we will get involved in building His house He will get involved in building ours His Business our business etc! Family – Finance - Vision.
There is a journey toward maturity that we are all to go on. The people in the house of God lead this journey. We are to go on that journey with the guides that God has provided for us in Ephesians 4:11 and having walked on the road we are called to lead others (the great commission) and make disciples.
This, if done in obedience to God, will bring great reward. We in fact have an inheritance that God has set aside for us, but we must be partakers of the will of God to receive the blessing or inheritance of God.

Newsletter Article - June/July - "And I Will Build My Church - Part 1"
God’s eyes are on His Church.
The Church worldwide is not dwindling or dying; to the contrary, it is actually growing, and growing at a considerable rate.
Matthew 16:18 Amplified says “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].”
The wonderful thing about travelling all over the world and speaking in lots of different churches is you get to see what God is doing. You don’t have to be super spiritual to know where God is at. He is doing the same thing everywhere.
So what is God doing around the world?
1. He is building His church
2. He is bringing the five fold ministry back into the church
3. He is releasing the saints to do the work of ministry
A while ago the late Pastor David Cartledge and many others were teaching and talking about the church going into an apostolic era. This, I believe, is happening, but what is the work of an Apostle? The word “Apostle,” like the ministry, is a person sent out from the local church with a God given mission and message. The mission that we should be working on is the building of God’s church through the training of God’s pastors and leaders.
Paul, in his writings in the New Testament when relating to the churches, gave good, clear advice, (not orders) to the churches on the questions they had concerning what was happening in the life of the church. I believe this should be happening today, if we are in the apostolic era that we have talked about.
Recently I heard Alan and Noela Collis speaking in our church. They have a recognised prophetic ministry and they were saying that they believed the church was in a time of transition or change. When I look around at the church in general what I see are many churches that have been around for a long time but are not growing.
I have heard comment from others that if you are in a church that is not growing then maybe you should not be running a church! Looking at this prayerfully I think that the problem lies in the fact that we are teaching the students at Bible College the Word, but not how to run a ministry, or how to be a leader.
If God’s design for church revolved around there being input from each one of the five fold ministry and we don’t have that then how will the pastors be complete in their knowledge and understanding of how to run the church?
While away on a ministry trip I was talking to God about all this stuff!! I clearly heard God say, “I will build my church.” I said “Yes Lord.” He said “No listen, I will build MY CHURCH”. Once again I said “Yes Lord.” He said “NO Listen, MY CHURCH”
This all sounded very strange to me but He showed me that He has a specific purpose for church and when that is in place there will be the resources for us to build the dream or vision that we have our church.
God has His eye on the Church in these last days. He is pouring out His anointing on all members of the Church who are willing to accept that they have a call and God given gift to operate in the kingdom. I am not speaking about those who are called with titles, pastor etc. but rather all the people of the Church because we are all called to service.
If God is positioning His Church to be noticed, then we need Godly wisdom, power and His presence to have good influence on a bad out-of-order world.
God’s desire for His Church:
God’s desire for His Church - so that includes you - is that it presents itself in all its glory - strong, bold and able to meet the needs of the world.
For that to happen we need:
1. Strong leaders who have vision and a sense of destiny who will build now for future generations.
2. Strong people who are committed to the same vision and goals – awesome powerful, virtuous, magnificent, supernatural people.
So how do we get there and what needs to change for this to happen?
Ephesians 4:11-12
It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers. To prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.
God’s desire is that the whole Church gets involved in the building of the Church.
In order for this to take place, the pastors and leaders need to be taught and trained in how to raise up, mentor and release their people. They need to be given the tools to make this happen. The ministry gifts need to be giving input to the churches, and helping build the church, not just looking for a place to preach and earn money but rather building in partnership with the local church leaders.
What do we need to establish?
· A flourishing body of believers full of and operating in the Holy Spirit and His gifts.
· A church where Jesus is alive and at its centre.
· A group of people led by empowered, relaxed, and intentional leadership.
· A church where all the ministry and Holy Spirit gifts are in operation.
· A place where people find Christ, are nurtured, developed, trained, taken forward to their destiny, and released into a supported network as leaders that take God’s Kingdom forward.
A people that are the head and not the tail, and able to bring influence across the community and to the nations beyond.
Churches that are an asset to their community bringing light into darkness and who would be sadly missed if were they were no longer around. A place of safety and security, a place renowned for seeing lives changed through the transforming power of our Lord Jesus Christ and where it’s members are filled with life and vision where a ‘can do’ attitude prevails.
In the past 7 years “Partners in Faith” have worked in partnership with many churches around the world and have seen those churches, even though they were established for many years, growing and quadrupling in numbers in a relatively short period of time.
Pastors who have been serving for many years, going it alone, and not seeing the growth they would like do not need to step down, but rather need to be encouraged, partnered with, helped to grow and given the tools and information so they can in turn teach and train the saints to do the work of ministry and grow the local church. That is God’s will and that should be the will of any five fold minister.
I am not just talking about clever programs, but rather ways to touch the lives of our people with programs that have the heart of God.
While ministering in Ireland, I noticed how people responded dramatically to God’s love, grace and care. God has place a burden on my heart to carry the mission to Ireland to see the churches and people of that nation, who have suffered for so long begin to grow and move forward.
Church growing in grace, love and numbers that are affecting their communities.
That’s our mission and our message from God.
